POP3 AND SMTP SETUP - WINDOWS LIVE MAIL (similiar to Otlook) 2007+)
These setting only apply if Webbuilder is providing the SMTP service instead of the default ISP.
Step 1
WINDOWS LIVE MAIL (If installed and a previous email account active
- Click Accounts to access screen with Account Information
- Click Add Email icon to create a new account
- Proceed with STEP 4 > STEP 3 > STEP 5 below
Anny Email account settings can be accessed byusing Accounts > Properties

WINDOWS LIVE MAIL (setting up a NEW Account)
- Add email address, correct password and display name
- IMPORTANT: Tick "Manually configure server settings"
(otherwise it will store default smtp settings, etc.)
- > NEXT

Step 2
INCOMING SERVER SETTINGS
- Select POP
- Server Address: pop3.webhost.co.nz (leave default setting port 110)
- Authentication: Clear text (default)
- Logon user name: full email address
OUTGOING SERVER SETTINGS
- Server Address: smtp.webhost.co.nz
- Change Port: 465
- Tick "Requires a secure connection (SSL)"
- Tick "Requires authentication"
> NEXT

- IMPORTANT: Check settings
- >Accounts > Properties

Step 5
- Incoming mail server : pop3.webhost.co.nz
- outgoing mail server : smtp.webhost.co.nz
- Add username (= email address) and password (type it exactly as provided)
- > Settings

Step 6
- Logon info: Use same settings as my incoming mail server (i.e. your email address and password)

Step 7
- Advanced tab
- Change Outgoing server (SMTP) to 465
- Select SSL for Outgoing server
- TIP: Delivery - Select Leave a copy on server for 5 0r 10 days if you wish to read mail using internet webmail AND also setting up on another device e.g. mobile phone.

Step 8
- Click OK
Send a test message to yourself to check if outgoing mail working
